All licenses include:
-Single use non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual broadcast and synchronisation rights for use in one production. Licenses are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-Where applicable, cue sheets are to be filed with the relevant Performing Rights Organisation (PRO). Track tunecode/ ISWC/ ISRC can be found at the track's page, by clicking the "+" icon at the right of the page.
USAGE TYPE
- Use in a non-monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned personal video uploaded to Youtube. Please credit me with links to my social media pages in the description. Copyright notifications will be made on any videos using my music - these are nothing to worry about and will not affect your video. My tracks are registered with Youtube's ContentID, which means you can use my music for free and still support me.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned personal video uploaded to Youtube. YouTube, unfortunately, does not offer an option to whitelist a channel for any specific track(s), so I am unable to license for ongoing monetised YouTube series.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one non-monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned personal video uploaded to All Social Media (excluding YouTube). Use in a Personal Video on All Social Media (including YouTube) requires a Tier 2 license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned personal video uploaded directly to a Personal Website or as background music on a Personal Website. This license is not required for an embedded YouTube video on a Personal Website, however, a separate license may be required for the YouTube video. See "Tier 0 - Personal YouTube Video - non-monetised" or "Tier 1 - Personal YouTube Video - monetised".
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one non-monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned Student Film, Presentation and/ or Competition distributed via internet (including downloads) and/ or school sponsored events. Videos uploaded directly to YouTube for this purpose are covered by a Tier 0 license. Any involvement of monetary incentives e.g. prize money or scholarships requires a tier 2 license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one Short Film (duration less than 45 minutes) distributed via internet (including downloads) and/ or film festivals.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one non-monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned video on All Social Media.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned Student Film, Presentation and/ or Competition distributed via internet (including downloads) and/ or school sponsored events.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one non-commissioned video showcasing professional work distributed via the internet and/ or physical media.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in a promotional video of a single property, distributed via the internet and/ or physical media.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one video promoting one Crowdfunding Campaign on dedicated crowdfunding websites (e.g. Kickstarter, GoFundMe, IndiGoGo). Use outisde of dedicated crowdfunding websites requires a business license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one Film distributed via film festivals.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one Event Video or Slideshow distributed via the internet and/ or physical media.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use by a Small Nonprofit (1-25 employees) in one monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned video used internally (e.g. presentations/ training), at live events (e.g. trade shows/ sales presentations) and/ or distributed via the internet. Broadcast videos or commissioned advertising requires a custom license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use in one independent film with a budget under £250,000. Usage in a trailer requires a custom license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use by a Medium Nonprofit (26-100 employees) in one monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned video used internally (e.g. presentations/ training), at live events (e.g. trade shows/ sales presentations) and/ or distributed via the internet. Broadcast videos or commissioned advertising requires a custom license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use by a Small Business (1-25 employees) in one non-commissioned video used internally (e.g. presentations/ training), at live events (e.g. trade shows/ sales presentations) and/ or distributed via the internet. Broadcast videos or commissioned advertising requires a custom license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use by a Large Nonprofit (101 employees) in one monetised, non-commercial, non-commissioned video used internally (e.g. presentations/ training), at live events (e.g. trade shows/ sales presentations) and/ or distributed via the internet. Broadcast videos or commissioned advertising requires a custom license.
- Non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual (forever) broadcast and synchronisation license for use by a Medium Business (26-100 employees) in one non-commissioned video used internally (e.g. presentations/ training), at live events (e.g. trade shows/ sales presentations) and/ or distributed via the internet. Broadcast videos or commissioned advertising requires a custom license.
The mechanical, synchronization, and performance rights granted to the LICENSEE within the AGREEMENT include (1) right to re-record, duplicate and release the Work as part of a production in one video as declared by the tier of license purchased; and (2) right to use the music as a soundtrack "synced" with visual images as part of the production of the commercial video. DAVID CHAPPELL MUSIC grants LICENSEE a non-exclusive perpetual license to use the Work herein.
The rights granted to the LICENSEE do not permit the LICENSEE to (1) claim authorship of the music represented under this AGREEMENT; (2) transfer, share or sub-lease this license agreement with any other party; (3) copy or duplicate the Work except for use in the LICENSEE'S productions; (4) permit any other individual or third party the right to use the Work in place of the LICENSEE; (5) resell, trade, or exploit for profit the Work contained herein outright or as part of other music and/or audio-related collections, in part or in whole, to any other individual or party.
The term of the agreement is effective as of the date of purchase of the music license.
LICENSEE agrees to pay DAVID CHAPPELL MUSIC a one-time synchronisation fee as defined by the tier of license purchased. Where applicable, cue sheets are to be filed with the relevant Performing Rights Organisation (PRO). Track tunecode/ ISWC/ ISRC will be provided at download.
